IT Network & Support Administrator

As the IT Network & Support Administrator within the organisation, you will be expected to manage your own tasks, performing the central function of being the first-line support for all IT-related user requests, conducting the appropriate diagnosis and troubleshooting on PCs, laptops, network infrastructure and all connected devices. It will also involve collaboration with our Software Systems Administrator in resolving specific issues.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line user support
  • General hardware troubleshooting, diagnoses, repairs and upgrades
  • Installation of standard PC hardware, software, printers etc.
  • Installation of active and passive wired as well as wireless networking equipment
  • Managing backups ensuring all data regularly backed up.
  • Ensure that the hardware and software inventory are always kept updated
  • Liaising with third-party providers and vendors as and when required
  • Managing and overseeing the implementation any IT-related projects
  • Managing and overseeing System Admin rights and user access rights and implementing “best-practice” in the management of System procedures and passwords
  • Managing and overseeing the implementation, management and performance of internal IT security systems
  • Managing cloud-based services, on-site server set up and switches infrastructure
  • Preparing the appropriate customised IT manuals and procedures
  • Assisting with the management of Microsoft Office 365 licensing requirements
  • Assisting with the yearly budget
  • Other IT related ad hoc duties


  • 2+ years’ experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar IT infrastructure role
  • Working knowledge of Networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Security)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows OS, Office 365 applications and Office 365 Security
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and general cloud environments
  • Experience setting up and managing internal infrastructures
  • Experience working with 3rd party / outsourced service providers
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skill
  • Capable of resolving critical software and hardware issues in a time sensitive manner
  • Experience managing small support teams
  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities
  • Fluency in English
