Gayle has worked in various fields of economic law, both in the private and public sector as well as in international organisations. Her main areas of focus are EU institutional and economic law, Competition / Antitrust Regulation, Corporate & Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), iGaming Law, Intellectual Property and Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT). She is experienced in litigation before the EU Courts and international arbitrations.
Gayle spent 9 years working in Brussels. She has advised EU Member States’ and local government and was also appointed expert for the European Economic and Social Committee in the drafting of their Opinion on Online Gaming. She also headed the EU and International Affairs department of the Malta Gaming Authority.
Education & Court Admissions
Gayle graduated Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta. She then pursued a Master of Laws in EU law at the College of Europe, Bruges.
Gayle is fluent in English, French, Italian and Maltese.
